What does the bible say bout evening services? Some think it's wrong to have evening services.
Answer
Nowhere in the New Testament is there any specification of whether the church may assemble at night or in the morning. If anything, Acts 20:7 would indicate an evening assembly. Since the Jewish day begins at sunset, many congregations in the first century probably continued the Jewish practice of assembling in synagogue in the evening. Many may even have had daily morning and evening assemblies, as that was common in synagogue. Anyone who objects to two assemblies on Sunday would be hard pressed to show a scripture that would forbid it. They would be more likely to find scripture saying they should be meeting together daily.
