What Does the Bible Say About..Mixed Breeding?

Is it against God to combine two different fruit and make them one? Example: a grapple...looks like an apple taste like a grape. If so where in the Bible does it say this.

Answer

“And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth.” (Genesis 1:28)

This verse would seem to indicate that we would be allowed to modify plants, such as creating grapples and tangelos. I find nothing that prohibits it to all men.

In fact, modifying plants has been common practice throughout history. Even Paul uses grafting as an example of God’s grace to those people who were not Jews. (Romans 11:16-26) He does not condemn (or condone) the practice. But it would seem strange to take a practice that was wrong and use it as an example of what God was doing.
