In these Lent Days christians are willing to marry each other. Is this right/wrong? If they marry is it any problem with What the Bible says?
Answer
Since Lent is a manmade holiday, never mentioned in the Bible, then it would be up to each individual to decide what they can or cannot do during that period. If a person chooses to celebrate that holiday they should not bind it on those, like me, who choose not to celebrate it. “Let no man therefore judge you in meat, or in drink, or in respect of a holiday, or ot the new moon, or of the sabbath days.” (Colossians 2:16) If somebody wants to observe Lent I have no right to object. If I choose not to observe it I have no right to object to someone else observing it.
