Is it sinful to listen to music that discusses violence, use of drugs, or having sex with multiple people?

I am not sure one could definitely say it is a sin to listen to music with such subject matter. It is certainly not a good idea, and could be harmful to a Christian. The passage that most closely answers this question is Philippians 4:8, "Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things." Christians should be filling their minds and souls with things that will build them up, not tear them down.
