I’m in a Christian hardcore/screamo band and I’m wondering if screaming Christian lyrics is wrong?

The Bible is specific in saying we should sing, although some of us feel that those passages relate specifically to singing in the assembly of the church. The Bible does not specify how we sing. Some people like four part harmony, but in many countries that sounds strange. Some people like rap, or metal, or grunge. The style of music is not what is important. The message is the important thing. If people can hear and understand the lyrics it shouldn’t matter if they are screamed or sung as a ballad. After all, there are some preachers who are screamers and some who aren’t, and either method is simply a way to proclaim the message. The only concern is whether the message is the truth according to the Bible.
