How about Genesis 3:21, God made coats of skin. Scofield says a divinely provided garment. I prefer Job 10:11 Thou hast clothed me with skin and flesh, and hast fenced me with bones and sinews.
Answer
The literal translation, simple meaning, and context of Genesis 3 all point to the idea that God dressed them with skins in addition to their own skin. Adam's first comment to God indicated that he was aware of his nakedness. This is clearly not that he was bone and muscle with no outer skin, but that he had no clothing to hide his nakedness. So after God delivered sentence on Adam, Eve, and the serpent, he gave them clothes so they would not be ashamed. I don't think Job 10:11 is commentary on Genesis 3:21.
