Where in the Bible does Jesus say he is God's son?
“Jesus heard that they had cast him out; and when he had found him, he said unto him, Dost thou believe on the Son of God. He answered and said, Who is he, Lord, that I might believe on him? And Jesus said unto him, Thou hast both seen him, and it is he that talketh with thee.” (John 9:35-37)
“Then said they all, Art thou then the Son of God? And he said unto them, Ye say that I am. And they said, What need we any further witness? for we ourselves have heard of his own mouth.” (Luke 22:70-71)
Even though these are the only two recorded times that Jesus specifically admits he is the son of God there are many more times he is called the son of God. Sometimes that was in his presence and he did not correct the one calling him that. At least once evil spirits called him the son of God. (Matthew 28:29) Before he was born an angel said he was the son of God. (Luke 1:35) God, himself, twice called him the son of God. (Matthew 3:17; Matthew 17:5) So even if he had never used the term about himself there is no doubt who he was.
